Biography
I have been working in the film industry as a Set Decorator and Props Master for the past 15 years. I started my career as a Props Assistant and Set Decoration Assistant in 2003, while still studying at AFDA film school and I have since worked my way up to HOD on various international television series and feature films and television commercials.
I started my studies at Wits University at the school of Architecture. From there I went on to study at AFDA and obtained a BA Honours in Production Design.
Soon after graduation I moved to Cape Town where I have gained most of my experience. I can now offer a full service in script/ character breakdown, budget estimates, sourcing, facilitating fabrication and team management.
I work really well under pressure and can confidently manage an independent crew for any art department projects or special events.
Although mostly experienced in film decoration, I am also capable of managing event decor, interior design or most home DIY projects.
