Biography
This biography is written by Production Designer & Props Master, Andrew Orlando, a long-time colleague and friend of Jacques:
Jacques Strick has been an integral part of the film industry for over 20 years. His vast experience includes working on more than 29 international feature films and series, spanning various countries such as South Africa, Morocco, Namibia, Botswana, Hungary, the Maldives, and Malaysia. In addition to his work on feature films, Jacques has also been involved in numerous local and international commercials.
Jacques specialises in Key Standby Props and On Set Art Direction, which places him in direct collaboration with lead actors, directors, and crew on a daily basis. His strong work ethic, unwavering patience, and calm demeanour under pressure have earned him immense respect and admiration from cast and crew alike.
Whenever I take on a film or series, Jacques is the first person I contact to work alongside me. We have faced some of the most challenging productions together, and Jacques has always been there, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
