Biography
I am highly motivated creative and maker. I am drawn naturally to most areas that require a mix of practical skills and creativity. This lead me to complete a Fine arts degree, which I believe have taught me versatility, adaptability and a keen eye for detail. During my studies I was exposed to a wide array of materials , media and techniques. I loved the challenge of learning new skills/techniques on a regular basis, and finding ways to apply them to project.
Both my mother and father are trained craftsmen (cabinet maker & theatre prop maker). Since a young age I was intrigued by both of their skills, this exposed me to woodworking techniques and tools, meaning I am no stranger to the workshop.
To further bolster my practical skills I have been working part time in my parents antique shop since 2016. My contribution is mostly restoration and repair of all manner objects and then also the delivery of these items.
In previous Film work I found my versatility one of my strongest assets. I worked as an art assistant but fulfilled many roles within the department. I could often find myself in one day doing Stand By on set, painting and hanging doors on another, delivering props and even making one or two.
I enjoy the fast passed environment in film work, forcing me to think on my feet
and find intuitive solutions to often bizarre situations.
If you need to build, break, repair or even design something, I’m sure I can be of good use.
