Biography
Ola, I am Rochelle Redgard.
I think of myself as a bit of a hybrid. I come from a film & design background. On commercials I would start as a Draughtswoman. Designing the set pieces, and assisting with briefing construction and creating concepts. Sometimes I do quick photoshop mock-ups for Art Directors. And on bigger detailed jobs, 3D renders and technical drawing packs for construction. Then I shift over to props buying and in some cases a bit of graphics too.On long form jobs. Like Invasion season 2.
I work as a Props Buyer with a bigger focus on Fabrication. Finding all the bits and materials needed to make sci-fi dreams come true. I was super honored to be able to concept design most of the key props for the season. I designed 3D printing elements for props fabrication along with other CNC and routering work.In 2020 I designed my first feature, Measures of Men, I started work as a draughtswoman recreating existing locations in Sketch Up. But it soon developed into designing all the full set builds. I am incredibly proud of the project.Please request my Portfolio.
