Biography
Driven and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of excelling under pressure. Whether working as part of a team or independently, I bring strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. I prioritize efficiency and ensure that no detail is overlooked, taking pride in executing every task to the best of my ability.
Though I tend to be a quiet and reserved individual, I have no hesitation in voicing my opinions when appropriate. Outside of work, I stay busy with my hobbies, which include photographing cars and motorbikes, gaming, the occasional hike, and forex trading.
After completing high school, I pursued a diploma in Photography (NDPHGY) at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, graduating in 2017. In the first half of 2018, I freelanced as a sports photographer, capturing road cycling and mountain bike races, tours, and engaging in product photography.
In July 2018, I took the opportunity to emigrate to the UK, specifically the Highlands of Scotland, where I worked in the hospitality industry, starting as a night porter, moving to a day porter role, and eventually becoming a barman. In 2020, I transitioned to a pub, working as a barman and waiter until September 2022, when I decided to return to Cape Town to relaunch my photography career and pursue a path in the creative industry.
Towards the end of 2023, I ventured into the film industry as an Art Runner. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with multiple art directors on TV commercials for renowned clients such as Adidas, LinkedIn, Booking.com, Lipton, and Lego. While I have also served as a Production Assistant on a commercial, I feel most comfortable and fulfilled working within the art department.
