Biography
My career has been built on a variety of roles and industries where I was not just in an administrative position, but also the gatekeeper, technology whizz, researcher and marketing guru. I am not just used to wearing many hats, I thoroughly enjoy it; I thrive at my best where no two days are exactly the same. This is why I love the film and television industry so much. With over 20 years of experience in working for Cape Town's most prolific production companies and Africa's first custom built, high tech film studio, I garnished contacts and knowledge before finally enjoying freelancing in the industry.
One of my greatest strengths is my communication skills. I feel it is a fundamental ability to have as an assistant or coordinator to successfully obtain information and be able to provide feedback on requests given. I am very confident and have a sunny disposition which makes it easy for me to work with people from all levels, races and cultural backgrounds.
I firmly believe that with my positive attitude, values and work ethic that I would be a valuable asset, especially since I work well in a team. I am an avid believer that learning never stops and love acquiring new skills. I am truly blessed to have had many strong and top-notch mentors in my life and this has allowed me to learn and emulate their skills and abilities like working with budgets, schedules, calendars, etc.
